Antique Turquoise Shield Brooch

This is a very pretty Antique Turquoise Gemstone Brooch from the early 1900s. It would look great pinned to a top or scarf. It comes in a gift box and would be a great present.

The brooch or pin is made of shiny silver plate and is shaped as a round shield. It has a hammered texture to the front and a very pretty pattern around the edge. In the centre there’s a beautiful polished Turquoise cabochon gemstone.

The pin has a C clasp and hinge dating it to the beginning of the 20th century.

Condition

It’s in good condition with the silver plate shiny and the hinge and clasp work well.

The brooch measures 4.2cm diameter (1 5/8 inches).
