Antique 1923 Silver Thistle Pill Box

This is a very pretty and unique Antique Silver Pill Box from the 1920s. It features a thistle on the lid and would be a great gift for someone who loves Scotland.

It would be perfect for storing a few vitamins in. It comes in a gift bag.

It was made by CE Williams & Son and it was Hallmarked in Birmingham in 1923.

The pill box is cylindrical with  the Hallmarks on the side and a thistle on the lid. The lid lifts off to show a lovely gilded base. Inside the lid it has a clear mirror which gives a good reflection.

The Silver is shiny with some tarnish. There are a number of dints to the side, including a larger dent but none of this affects its use. There are quite a few tiny dints to the rim on the lid which are barely visible but can be felt with a finger.

It weighs 18g and measures approximately 3.4cm diameter 1 3/8 inches). The depth is 2.3cm (just under 1 inch).
