Antique 1921 Sterling Silver Chatelaine Case

Here we have a very pretty Antique Silver Case, perfect for storing small items in such as vitamins or rings. It comes in a gift bag and would be a great present.

It was made by EJ Trevitt and Sons and it was Hallmarked in Chester in 1921.

It's made of Sterling Silver and it has a chain handle, perfect for attaching to a chain or belt or carrying in a pocket or bag. It has a mirror on the inside of the lid as it was used as a vanity case but this is misted over. The interior is gilded and the makers mark and Hallmarks are on the inside.

The Silver is shiny with a few very small dents to the top and base. Although the lid rim is slightly wavy the hinge and clasp work well.

It weighs 17g and has a diameter of 4.6cm (just over 1 3/4 inches). The depth is 0.9cm (3/8 inch).
