Here we have a lovely Antique Solid Silver Button Hook. It would be great to use to fasten buttons or pull up zips that are hard to reach. It's a beautiful a collectors item and a practical item to use for fastenings.
It comes in a gift bag and would be a lovely present.
The handle is beautifully smooth, shiny Sterling Silver, with the Hallmarks on both sides. The hook is made of English Steel and it's stamped on the side of the carbon steel hook.
It was made by the Boots Pure Drug Company and it was Hallmarked at Birmingham Assay Office in 1919.
It's in good condition with just some tiny dents to the handle near the Hallmark.
