Here we have a pretty Vintage Solid Silver Case made in the early 1930s. It would be perfect for storing small items in. It comes in a lovely presentation bag and would be a great gift.

The exterior is beautifully shiny Sterling Silver. It has the initials AC elaborately engraved in the corner of the lid and an engineered design to the lid and base.

The hinge and clasp work well. Inside is a gilded interior and the hallmarks are on both the inside of the lid and base.

It was made by John Henry Wynn and it was Hallmarked in Birmingham 1932.

The silver is shiny. The lid is quite dented and there are two further dents on the back. There are a couple of small dents to the side. The lid is slightly lopsided. There’s a very small gap next to one end of the hinge but this doesn’t affect how it opens and closes. All of this has been taken into account when pricing.

It’s quite solid, weighing 98g.

It measures 8cm by 8.5cm (3 1/8 inches by 3 3/8 inches). The depth is 1.2cm (1/2 inch). It would be ideal for storing or carrying small items around in.
