Here we have an antique penny coin from the early 1900s Edwardian era. It comes in a gift bag and would be a great present.
It has Britannia on the reverse side of the coin with One Penny 1909 around the edge. Britannia is sitting on a rock wearing a helmet and flowing robes.
On the obverse side it has the bare head of King Edward VII in the centre with EDWARDDVS VII DEI GRA: BRITT:OMN:REX FID:DEF:IND:IMP around the edge. It’s made of bronze and weighs 9.3g.
The coin is tarnished and has been in circulation which makes it all the more lovely as a collectable from the early 1900s.
