This is a lovely Antique Sterling Silver Salt Bowl from the early 1900s. It would be perfect for serving salt or using as a bowl to store small items such as rings in.
It comes in a gift bag and it would be a great present.
It was made by Joseph Gloster and it was Hallmarked in Birmingham in 1905.
The bowl has three very elegant feet and a pretty design to the rim. The silver is shiny with quite a lot of tarnish marks to the inside and rim of the bowl, which may come off with a lot of cleaning. This has been taken into account in pricing.
It weighs 27g. The diameter is 4.8cm (1 7/8 inches). The height is 3.3cm (just over 1 1/4 inches).
