Here we have a lovely Antique Silver Napkin Ring from the early 1900s. It comes in a gift bag and would be a great present for a new baby or for a special birthday..
It was made by John Edward Wilmot and it was hallmarked in Birmingham in 1911. The maker’s mark and hallmarks are on the back of the napkin ring.
The ring is made of Sterling Silver and has a beautiful lined design all the way around with a blank circular cartouche at the front and a lovely raised rim at the top and bottom. The cartouche could be used for engraving initials or a date on it.
It’s in very good condition with just one tiny line indentation in the top rim at the back. It weighs 19.6g and has a width of 2.5cm (1 inch).
