Here we have a pretty Antique Fruit Knife with a solid Sterling Silver blade made in the Edwardian early 1900s. It would be ideal for cutting soft fruits such as apples and pears.

It comes in a gift bag and would be a lovely present for a birthday, Christmas or an anniversary.

It has a folding silver blade and a beautifully smooth mother of pearl handle. The blade is sprung and folds neatly back into the handle.

It was made by William Needham and it was hallmarked in Sheffield in 1905.

Condition

It’s in good condition. The silver blade has a few faint spots of tarnish. The mother of pearl has a small, smooth natural inclusion on the front and a tiny chip to the back.

Size

It’s a smaller size knife, measuring 8.5cm when the blade is fully open (3 3/8 inches) and 5.1cm when closed (2 inches).
