Vintage Sterling Silver Sewing Thimble Size 6

This is a lovely vintage Sterling Silver Thimble from the 1970s. It comes in a gift bag and would be a great present for someone who enjoys sewing. 

The maker’s marks are rubbed but it was hallmarked in Sheffield in 1978. The makers mark, hallmarks and size 6 are on the side of the thimble.

It’s made of shiny Sterling Silver with a dimple design all around and a pretty ring pattern with a rim at the base. It’s in very good condition.

It weighs 3.4g and measures 2.1cm in height (7/8 inch). The diameter is 1.7cm (5/8 inch) and its size 6.
