This is a beautiful Antique 1902 Medallion to commemorate the coronation of King Edward VII. It has a ring and a loop at the top so it can be hung on a necklace as a pendant or attached to a chain or pin.
It comes in a gift box and would be a great present.
It’s made of brass and is shaped as a cross with a crown and a ring at the top. In the centre it features the heads of Edward VII and Alexandria with “Born 1841 Crowned June 1902” surrounding it. It was made as a souvenir to celebrate the coronation.
It’s in good condition with a few scratches and one tiny dot of tarnish.
It measures 4.5cm in length (1 3/4 inches) from the top of the ring and has a width of 2.5cm (1 inch). It weighs 9g.
