I bought this for my grandson for his 18th birthday, he loved it.
Thank you for your lovely message and the item is perfect.
Was a little smaller than I expected but a nice bracelet regardless 👌

Beeches Vintage
This is a lovely Antique Solid Silver Box from the Edwardian era. It would be ideal for storing small items in such as jewellery or trinkets and would be a lovely gift.
It has a Sterling Silver exterior with a crest and the initials NJ elaborately engraved in the centre of the lid. The hinge works well and the lid lifts to show a cedar wood lined base and a gilded interior lid. The base has green felt to prevent it marking surfaces its placed on.
It was Hallmarked in Chester in 1900. The Hallmarks are on the front of both the base and lid. The makers mark is too worn to read.
The Silver is shiny. There are a number of dents to the lid and sides and a split to the Silver on one corner of the lid. There are some scratches including one on the lid which can be seen in the photos. The interior wood lining has some staining.
The total weight is 374g. It measures 10.3cm by 9.2cm (just over 4 inches by 3 1/2 inches). The height is 5.8cm (2 1/4 inches).
