This is a beautiful Antique Edwardian Solid Silver Handled Button Hook. It is quite long and it would be perfect for doing up fasteners such as buttons or as a zip puller. It was originally a button hook for shoes and it is a beautiful collector's item.

The Sterling Silver handle is beautifully detailed featuring a winged cherub on both sides. It's quite a unique design and is very well made. It has a carbon steel hook, perfect for reaching to fasten those tricky buttons or zips.

It was Hallmarked in Chester 1900 and it was made by J & R Griffin. The marks are a little worn but visible on the silver handle.

It's in good condition. The Silver is shiny with a little tarnish which helps to show the pretty design and a few tiny dents. The steel hook has some tarnish which adds to the vintage look.

It measures 28.2cm in length (11 1/8 inches).
