Here we have a lovely Antique Solid Silver Teaspoon Hallmarked in 1853. It’d be ideal to use for tea, coffee or eating.

It comes in a gift bag and would be a great present.

The antique teaspoon has a fiddle pattern design which was very popular in the 1800s. It features a pretty etched design of a dragon at the top of the handle. The bowl is a good teaspoon size.

It was made by George William Adams of Chawner and Co. It was Hallmarked in London in 1853. The Hallmarks and makers mark are on the back of the handle.

The Silver is shiny with light scratches to the handle. There are a few very small dents in the centre of the bowl which aren’t obvious and are commensurate with age of a spoon that’s over 170 years old.

It weighs 23g and measures 14.2cm in length (just over 5 1/2 inches).
