This is a lovely Antique Solid Silver Salt or Mustard Spoon. It comes in a pretty gift bag and it would be a great present.
It’d be perfect for using to serve condiments, mustard, salt or pepper.
It was made by William Eaton and was Hallmarked in London in 1823.
It’s a larger sized condiment spoon with a beautiful fiddle pattern handle which was a very popular design in the early 1800s Georgian era. The hallmarks are on the back of the handle and it has WEW elaborately engraved on the front.
Condition
The silver is shiny. The inside of the bowl has quite a few scratches to it.
Size
It weighs 7.8g and measures 10cm in length (nearly 4 inches).
