This is a beautiful bright cut Antique Sterling Silver Teaspoon hallmarked in the Georgian 1700s. It would be ideal for serving condiments, sugar or using for coffee or tea.

It comes in a gift bag and would be a great present.

The antique silver spoon has a beautiful bright cut design to the handle with a blank cartouche at the top that could have initials engraved. The bowl can hold 4ml of liquid so it’s a slightly smaller sized teaspoon.

It was hallmarked in London in 1793. The hallmarks are on the back of the handle. The maker’s mark has worn but it’s quite likely to have been made by Peter and Ann Bateman, as they made nearly identical spoons at this time.

It’s in good condition with the silver shiny. There is a very slight kink in the middle of the handle.

It weighs 12g and measures 13cm in length (5 1/4 inches).
