This is a very pretty bright cut antique silver spoon from the late 1700s. It’s small teaspoon sized and would be perfect for serving condiments, sugar, coffee or tea.
It would be a great gift and comes in a lovely presentation bag. It was made by Peter and Ann Bateman and it was hallmarked in London in 1793. The spoon has very pretty bright cut design to the handle and a blank cartouche at the top.
The bowl is a small teaspoon size and holds approximately 4ml of liquid.
It’s in very good condition. It weighs 16g and measures 13.3cm in length (just under 5 1/4 inches).
