This is a lovely bright cut antique silver spoon from the late 1700s. It’s small teaspoon sized and would be perfect for serving condiments, fruits, sugar, coffee or tea.
It would be a great gift and comes in a lovely presentation bag.
It was made by Richard Evans and it was hallmarked in London in 1787.
The spoon has very pretty bright cut design to the handle and a cartouche at the top that includes initials that look like DB but are very faded. The bowl is a small teaspoon size and holds approximately 4ml of liquid.
It’s in good condition. It weighs 13g and measures 12.3cm in length (4 7/8 inches).
