1980 Queen Mothers Birthday Commemorative Coin

This is a lovely uncirculated Commemorative Crown made to celebrate the 80th Birthday of HM Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother. 

It was issued in August 1980 and it would be a great gift for someone born in 1980 or as a collectors item.

The coin features the Queen Mothers head in the centre surrounded by bows and lions, a design with a nod to her surname she had, Bowes Lyon, before she married the King.

On the reverse side it has the head of Queen Elizabeth II. The coin is set in a black frame with 1900 1980, HM Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, 80th Birthday August 4th 1980 featured in silver on it.

It is in a Perspex frame which has some scratches. The coin is in good condition.
