1970s Port Sterling Silver Decanter Label

This is a lovely Vintage Silver Port Decanter Label from the 1970s. It comes in a black presentation box and would be a great gift for someone who likes Port or collects lovely barware items.

The label is made of shiny Sterling Silver and has Port engraved in the centre. All around the edge it has a pretty design featuring leaves and shells. It has a chain so it can be hung around the neck of a bottle or decanter.

It was made by Francis Howard and it was Hallmarked in Sheffield in 1973.

Condition

It’s in good condition with just a little tarnish in the pattern that helps show the detailing and the odd scratch.

It weighs 13g and measures 6.4cm by 4cm (2 1/2 inches by 1 1/2 inches).
