This is a lovely Cook Islands Commemorative Dollar from 1970. It would be a great gift particularly for a commemorative coin collector or for a 50th Birthday present. It comes in a lovely green gift bag.

The coin is uncirculated and comes in a deep blue holder and Perspex casing.

The holder has Cook Islands Commemorative Dollar South Pacific Royal Visit imprinted on the front.

The coin features HMS Endeavour with a portrait of James Cook. It has Cook Islands One Dollar and in one corner of the sea the initials JB for James Berry who was the designer of the coin.

The reverse side has the head of The Queen with Elizabeth II New Zealand 1970 around the edge.

Condition

It is in good condition with some scratches to the edges of the plastic casing.
