1968 Cherub Sterling Silver Whisky Decanter Label

This is a very pretty Vintage Solid Silver Decanter Label from the 1960s. It comes in a presentation box and would be a lovely gift for someone who enjoys Whisky.

The label is made of Sterling Silver and has a beautifully ornate design featuring the face of a cherub at the top and a pattern of grapes and leaves around the sides and base. In the centre it has Whisky engraved.

It was made by Turner and Simpson Ltd and it was Hallmarked in Birmingham is 1968. The maker’s mark and Hallmarks are on the back of the label.

Condition

It’s in good condition with the silver shiny and a little tarnish in the pattern which helps to show the detailing.

It weighs 17g. It measures 6cm by 5.5cm (2 3/8 inches by 2 1/8 inches).
