Vintage 1930s Silver Plated Sugar Tongs

Here we have very pretty Silver Plated Sugar Tongs from the 1930s. They come in a gift bag and would be a lovely present.

They were made by Mappin and Webb and they have Princes Plate and the date letter U on the inside of one of the arms.

They are made of Silver Plate and feature a pretty Rat Tail design to the arms and back of the bowls. They would be a very elegant way to serve sugar cubes or other small items of food such as hors d'oeuvres.

Condition

They're in good condition with the Silver Plate shiny and a little tarnish in places.

They measure 10.8cm in length (4 1/4 inches).
