Vintage 1926 Sterling Silver Candle Holder

This is a lovely Solid Silver Candlestick Holder from the 1920s. It would look fantastic on a mantelpiece or on a dinner table.

It comes in a gift bag and would be a great present.

The candlestick is made of Sterling Silver and has a wide base tapering into an elegant stem. It widens to the top where the candle fits. It has a red felt base.

It was made by JE Ltd and it was Hallmarked in London in 1926. The Hallmarks are on the side of the holder.

Condition

The silver is shiny with some tarnish and a number of dents to the stem which can be seen in the photos. The rim at the top has quite a few dents and the silver has split in one place. This wouldn’t affect its use but has been taken into account in the pricing.

Size

It’s filled and weighs 171g. It measures 9cm in height (3 1/2 inches) and the diameter of the base is 7cm (2 3/4 inches).
