Vintage Silver Plated Butter Knife, 1925 British Empire Exhibition

Here we have a very special Silver Plated Butter Knife made as a 1925 British Empire Exhibition souvenir to promote Australian Butter. It's a great collector's item and would be perfect to use for serving butter.

It's a lovely piece of history and comes in a gift bag.

The knife has Australian Butter Wembley 1925 imprinted on the blade along with a Kangaroo. The handle has a lovely slim shape to it.

Condition

The knife is shiny and silver plated although most of the plate has worn away. This wouldn’t affect it's use and adds to the lovely antique look of the knife. There are a few small faded tarnish marks.

It's a smaller sized butter knife measuring 12cm (4 3/4 inches) in length.
