1924 Sterling Silver Clothes Brush, Tortoise Shell Back

This is a beautiful vintage Clothes Brush from the 1920s. It would be a great gift to give to someone. It would be a great gift.

It is Hallmarked with a z for Birmingham 1924. The Maker's Mark is RW Ltd with possibly a third initial in the middle. It has a B in front of the Maker's Mark and it is possible it has been over stamped. The Hallmarks are very clear.

It is a stunning brush. The back is Tortoise Shell (this was made before it was banned from use in manufacturing). It has a pretty Sterling Silver edging to the handle with the Hallmarks on.

The bristles are set in wood in the handle.

It is in good condition. The Silver is shiny with a little tarnish in the pattern. There are a few very small dints around the edge. The bristles are all intact.

It measures 16.3cm in length (6 3/8 inches).
