Product Description

Here we have a beautiful Victorian Sterling Silver Fruit Knife from the 1800s. It would be ideal for slicing apples or other fruit.

It comes in a gift bag and would be a great present for a birthday or wedding anniversary.

It was made by James Fenton and it was Hallmarked in Birmingham in 1881.

The fruit knife has a Sterling Silver blade and a beautifully smooth Mother of Pearl handle. The blade folds back into the handle, protruding a little at the end.

The Silver is shiny with a few tarnish spots in places. There’s a slight kink to the blade which can be seen in the photos but it wouldn’t affect its use. The Mother of Pearl is in good condition showing all the lovely shades of colour that it does.

It measures 9.7cm when fully open (just over 3 3/4 inches). The blade length is 4.1cm (1 5/8 inches).
