Product Description

Here we have a beautiful Antique Sterling Silver Sauce Ladle from the late 1700s. It would be perfect for using to serve cream or a sauce.

It comes in a gift bag and would be a lovely present.

It was made by Peter and Ann Bateman and it was Hallmarked in London in 1798.

The spoon has a beautiful round brown and an elegant tapered handle. At the top of the handle it has TH elaborately engraved although this has worn a little.

The Sterling Silver is shiny. There’s a little tarnish and a couple of very tiny dents to the edge of the bowl which means it’s not completely round. It’s over 225 years old and I very good condition.

It weighs 37g and measures approximately 16.5cm in length (6 1/2 inches).
