Here we have a beautiful Antique Victorian Silver Egg Cup. It comes in a gift bag and would be a very special present for a New Baby, Christening, Baptism or Birthday.
It was made by John Evans II and it was Hallmarked in London in 1848. The makers mark and Hallmarks are on the side of the egg cup.
Its made of Sterling Silver and sits on a pedestal base. It has a beautifully elegant shape with a curved rim at the top. It has plain sides so it could be engraved. Its shiny with light scratches.
It weighs 46.3g and measures 7.2cm in height (just over 2 3/4 inches).
The egg is for demonstration purposes only and is not included in the sale.
