Large Silver Purse Shaped Pill Box

Here we have a beautiful Vintage Silver Pill Box, perfect for storing a few vitamins or other small items in.

It comes in a gift bag and would be a great present.

It is made of 800 Silver and is from Firenze/Florence in Italy. It had the makers number of 1002.

It is lozenge shaped with lovely curved sides and a shiny Silver exterior. On the lid it has a pretty etched design and the base features the 800 stamp and makers marks.

The hinge works well and the lid lifts to show a Silver interior. 

The Silver is shiny with scratches and a little tarnish. There is a tiny gap between the lid and base at the front but the clasp works to keep it shut.

It weighs 13.6g. It measures 4.4cm by 3.4cm (1 3/4 inches by 1 1/4 inches). The depth is 1.5cm (approx 1/2 inch).
