This is a lovely Vintage Silver Plated Bowl from the 1940s. It comes in a gift bag and would be a great present.

It was made by Elkington & Co  in 1947 and features their date letter L. It is made with Elkington Plate and it has 27503 stamped on it.

The bowl has ASTOLAT imprinted on the side of the bowl. Astolat  is a legendary castle and town in Great Britain that was named in Arthurian legends. 

The bowl is in good condition with all the Silver Plate shiny and intact. There are a few light scratches to it.

It’s a small sized bowl, perfect for keeping rings or earrings in. 

The diameter is 6.3cm (2 1/2 inches). The depth is 3.5cm (1 3/8 inches).
