Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Teaspoon
This is a very pretty Antique Sterling Silver Teaspoon. It would be perfect for serving jams or condiments.
It was made by Joseph Rodgers & Sons and it’s Hallmarked for Sheffield 1899.
The spoon is made of Sterling Silver and has a beautiful engraved floral pattern on the neck and handle. In the middle of the pattern there is an elaborate letter which looks like an S.
On the back of the handle there are the Hallmarks and Maker’s Mark. It also has the star and cross Trademark of Joseph Rodgers & Sons.
The bowl is a good teaspoon size. The spoon is shiny with a bit of tarnish and light scratches.
It weighs 19.4g and measures 13.4cm in length (just under 5 1/4 inches).
