Antique Victorian Silver Plated Knife Rests
£27.00
Here we have a lovely pair of matching Silver Plate Knife Rests from the 1800s. They would be a great addition to any lunch or dinner table.
The rests have a simple design with four spokes at each end. At one end of each rest it has the maker's mark MPA in a shield. It may have been made by William Hutton who used this trade mark in the 1800s. There are no other marks.
The Silver Plate is shiny with light scratches as you'd expect with a vintage item. The Silver Plate is slightly worn on the tips of some of the spokes but you have to look very closely to see this.
Each Knife Rest measures just over 8cm in length (nearly 3.25 inches).
