This is a very pretty Antique Silver Cream Jug from the early 1900s. It’s a smaller size jug and would be ideal to use for serving cream or milk for one or two people.
It comes in a gift bag and would be a great present.
It was made by S Blanckensee & Son Ltd and it was Hallmarked in Birmingham in 1901. The maker’s mark and Hallmarks are on the base of the jug.
It’s made of Sterling Silver and has three elegant legs. It has a wavy pattern to the rim and a beautifully shaped handle.
The Silver is shiny with a tiny bit of tarnish in the corners.
It weighs 110.2g. The height to the middle of the jug is 9cm (3 1/2 inches).
