Antique French Silver Plated Sauce Ladle

This is a very pretty Antique Silver Plated Sauce Ladle. It would be a great way to serve sauces or gravy.

It was made by Cailar Bayard, French Silversmiths. They were manufacturing from 1845 to 1934. This ladle dates from the 1800s. 

The ladle has a pretty bowl with a shaped lip. The makers marks and logo are within the bowl. The handle has a rat tail design and on the back it has BLE and SGDG imprinted and the initials AR engraved.

It's in good condition. The Silver Plate is shiny with a little tarnish and scratches. There is one very small patch of deterioration to the back of the bowl.

Its a medium sized ladle, measuring 23cm in length (9 inches).
