Here we have a beautiful Antique Sterling Silver Fruit Knife, perfect for slicing apples or other fruit. It comes in a gift bag and would be a lovely present for a birthday or wedding anniversary.
It was made by John Yeomans Cowlishaw and it was Hallmarked in Sheffield in 1919. The maker’s mark and Hallmarks are on one side of the Sterling Silver blade.
The fruit knife has a beautiful Mother of Pearl handle with a blank oval cartouche on one side and a pretty curved design.
The blade folds neatly back into the handle. It is in good condition.
It measures 11.1cm in length when the blade is fully opened (4 3/8 inches). When closed it measures 6.7cm in length (just under 2 3/4 inches).
