Here we have a very pretty Antique Sterling Silver Button Hook. It’s a lovely collector’s item and would be ideal for fastening hard to reach buttons.
It comes in a gift bag and would be a great present.
The maker’s mark and Hallmarks are quite worn but it was Hallmarked in Sheffield in 1912.
The handle is made of Sterling Silver and has a lovely design to it. The hook is made of Steel.
The handle has some tarnish and some very tiny holes which can only be seen through a magnifying glass. The steel has some tarnish and deterioration which wouldn’t affect it’s use.
It’s a smaller size button hook, measuring 16.8cm in length (just over 6 1/2 inches).
