Product Description

This is a very pretty Antique Art Deco style Sterling Silver Toast Rack from the early 1900s. It would be perfect for serving toast at breakfast or using it as a letter or card rack.

It comes in a gift bag and would be a great present.

It was made by Israel S Greenberg and Co and it was Hallmarked in Birmingham in 1913. The maker's mark and Hallmarks are on the side of the toast rack.

The toast rack is made of Sterling Silver and is Art Deco style. It has five lovely shaped arches and a pretty handle at the top. There are four feet it stands on.

The Silver is shiny with a little tarnish in places and there are some scratches in places which can only be seen if you're studying it closely. One foot doesn't entirely touch the surface when it's put down on a surface.

It weighs 47g. It's a smaller size toast rack as they nearly always were in the early 1900s. It measures 7.7cm by 4.6cm  (3 inches by 1 3/4 inches). The height to the top of the handle is 6.7cm (2 1/2 inches).
