This is a beautiful Antique Sterling Silver Sugar Sifter Spoon from the early 1900s. It comes in it’s original presentation box and would be a fantastic gift.
It was made by Mappin & Webb and it was Hallmarked in Sheffield in 1901.
The spoon has a beautiful shape and it has a very pretty gilded bowl. The Hallmarks are on the back of the handle.
The Silver is shiny with a tiny bit of tarnish in places. The clasp on the box is only attached at one end and is tarnished but still works and fastens the box.
The spoon weighs 33.9g and measures 14.7cm in length (just under 5 3/4 inches).
