Product Description

Here we have a very pretty Antique Sterling Silver Apostle Tea Caddy Spoon from the mid 1800s. It would be ideal for using to serve loose tea or coffee.

It comes in a gift bag and would be a lovely present for someone who loves tea or coffee.

The maker’s mark is worn and difficult to read but it possibly was made by Henry Holland. It was Hallmarked in London in 1867. The Hallmarks are on the underside of the bowl.

The spoon is made of Sterling Silver and it has a lovely shaped bowl, perfect for scooping tea or coffee. The handle is beautifully designed and detailed with an apostle at the top.

The bowl was gilded but a lot of this has worn off. The Silver is shiny with a little tarnish which helps to show the detail.

It weighs 15.7g and measures 10.4cm in length (4 1/8 inches).
