This is a lovely Antique Victorian Sterling Silver Teaspoon from the Mid 1800s. It would be a great gift or spoon to use for serving jams or condiments.

It was made by Robert Williams & Sons and it was Hallmarked in Exeter in 1850.

It is teaspoon sized with a lovely fiddle shaped handle. There was an engraved pattern at the top of the handle which is worn.

On the back of the handle it has the Maker’s Mark and Hallmarks. It was Hallmarked in Exeter which makes it more special, being assayed in a smaller regional office.

It’s in good condition. The tip of the bowl has a very slight rough feel but this wouldn’t affect it’s use. The 925 Silver is shiny with scratches, particularly to the neck and handle.

It weighs 26.5g and measures 14.5cm in length (5 3/4 inches).
