Antique 1844 Sterling Silver Condiment Spoon, Mustard Spoon, Salt Spoon
This is a beautiful Sterling Silver Condiment or Salt Spoon from the early 1800s. It comes in a lovely gift bag and would make a great present.
It was made by Richard Britton and it was Hallmarked in London 1844.
The Spoon is made of Sterling Silver. It has the maker’s mark and Hallmarks on the back of the handle. At the top of the handle it has GES elaborately engraved.
The spoon has an interesting curve to the handle. The Silver is shiny with a bit of tarnish in places.
It weighs 11.8g and measures 10.5cm (4 1/8 inches).
