This is a beautiful antique solid silver dessert spoon from the early 1800s. It would be perfect for using to eat with or serving vegetables or desserts. It comes in a gift bag and would be a very special present.

The Georgian spoon is made of solid Sterling Silver and is dessert spoon sized. The handle is tapered to the bowl. The top of the handle features a motif of a bear and a spear.

It was made by William Eley I, William Fearn and William Chawner and it was Hallmarked in London in 1810. The Hallmarks are on the back of the handle.

The silver is shiny with light scratches and a little tarnish. It has a tiny, pin sized dent to the bowl which can be seen in one of the photos.

It weighs 37.3g and measures 17. 3cm in length (6 7/8 inches).
