1955 Sterling Silver Cruet Set
This is a beautiful Vintage Silver Cruet Set from the 1950s. It would be a lovely way to serve salt, pepper and condiments at dinner to guests.
The Cruet Set was made by Adie Brothers Ltd and was Hallmarked in Birmingham in 1955. The condiment spoon was made by Cooper Brothers & Sons and was Hallmarked in Sheffield in 1961.
The set is made of Sterling Silver. The Salt and Mustard Pot both have blue glass liners which have no chips or cracks.
It’s in good condition with the Silver shiny and the odd tarnish spot. The lid is slightly curved upwards on the mustard pot but this isn’t very noticeable and wouldn’t affect it’s use.
The combined Silver weight is 115.9g.
The pepper pot measures 7.8cm in height (just over 3 inches). The salt and mustard pots measure approx 5.5cm by 4cm (2 1/8 inches by just over 1 1/2 inches).
