Product Description
This is a lovely State Express Box. It would make a fantastic keepsake box or trinket box for storing jewellery, cufflinks or other small items on.
The exterior is gold coloured, most likely made of brass. It has a lovely pattern and two lines to the lid and the base has State Express and their logo in the centre, and Made in England towards the edge. Inside is a wood lining to the base with two compartments.
The box is in good condition. The hinge works well and the exterior is shiny with some tarnish. There are a number of very small tarnish spots on the lid which adds to the character and authenticity of the box.
It measures 17cm by 12.5cm (6.75 inches by just over 4.75 inches). The depth is 3.5cm (1.4 inches).
