1937 Sterling Silver Toast Rack, Art Deco
Here we have a lovely Sterling Silver Toast Rack from the 1930s. It comes in a gift bag and would be a very special present.
It was made by Emile Viner and it was Hallmarked in Sheffield in 1937. The Hallmarks are on the side of the toast rack.
It holds four slices of toast and has a pretty handle in the centre. The Silver is shiny with a tiny bit of tarnish in the corners.
It weighs 54.7g.
It’s a smaller sized toast rack, measuring 7.8cm by 4.8cm (just over 3 inches by 1 7/8 inches). The height to the top of the handle is 7.5cm (just under 3 inches).
