1930s Sterling Silver Coffee Spoons, Golf Memorabilia
These are a lovely set of three Silver Coffee Spoons from the 1930s. They come in a gift bag and would be a great present for someone who enjoys golf.
They were made by George K Paul. All three were Hallmarked in Edinburgh, two in 1929 and one in 1931. The Hallmarks are on the back of the spoons.
The spoons were used as an award at a Golf Club and each has a logo and BLGC at the top of the handle. In the bowls they have April 1930, June 1930 and March 1932 engraved, most likely for competition dates.
Together they weigh 25.5g. They’re shiny with a bit of tarnish. Each spoon measures 9.6cm in length (3 3/4 inches).
